Mahaningpur is the holyplace of lord Mahalingeshwar.
History of Mahangpur is that lord Mahalingeshwar presented his few hairs called 'Jatas' to one of his devotees and still they are growing, this hairs or jatas are now few meters long. Can anyone believe that hairs can grow after it has been plucked from head. ITS A MIRACLE.
Mahalingpur is also famous for its Jaggery market
