Designed 1912 by Daniel Burnham as a new flagship location for William Filene & Sons' department store, better known as Filene's. In 2006, Filene's closed and Handel Architects renovated the upper floors into offices for multinational advertising and public relations company Havas and Arnold Worldwide. Roche Bros supermarket occupies the basement and Irish clothing company Primark occupy the first four floors of the restored Burnham Building.
