Sanssouci is a palace in Potsdam, Germany. It was the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia and is often counted among the German rivals of Versailles. While Sanssouci is in the more intimate Rococo style and is far smaller than its French Baroque counterpart, it is notable for the numerous temples and follies in Sanssouci Park.

  • I hope you all enjoy the couple of pictures I uploaded for this. The place was beautiful in the summer time!
  • It's a very cozy palace, I was amazed at the garden, there are vining plants and fig trees, these are behind glass and provided witn heating, so that the cold weather don't affect them. And the whole compound it's worth to visit, best time ist summer, but a sunny day in any season it's OK, of course in winter ist melancholic. Each king had his own idea of palaces, I recomend to visit all.
