The Municipal Athletic Centre of Komotini is a multi-purpose stadium in the administrative capital of North-eastern Greece, the city of Komotini.
It was originally built in 1922/3, after the liberation of Western Thrace by the Greek Army. The Northern Stand was constructed in the 1950's. The smaller Southern Stand was built in the 1970's. The stadium remained in a state of dis-repair until the 2000s and its capacity was a measly 3,000.
