A stretch of saltwater between Mutford Lock (entrance to Oulton Broad) and Lowestoft Harbour Bridge (adjacent the North Sea). The majority of Lake Lothing constitutes the "Inner Harbour", which covers all the water and frontage between the Lowestoft Bascule bridge and Carlton Swing (Railway) bridge.
