Silver Comet Trail - Floyd Road Trailhead

Floyd Road Station is on mile marker 4.2 on the Silver Comet Trail. It has good parking, nice restrooms, and the Silver Comet Depot. The Silver Comet Depot is a bike shop that rents and sells bikes. There is a Shell station near by.

The Silver Comet Trail is a paved, non-motorized trail that goes from Smyrna, Ga to the Alabama state line (about 61 miles long). At the Alabama state line, it connects to the Chief Ladiga Trail (about 33 miles long). Both trails are free, open to the public, and built on abandond rail lines.
