Rosario Resort was the home of Robert Moran(1857-1943). He was an industrialist and shipbuilder at the turn of the century from Seattle. (He built a pre-dreadnaut battleship Nebraska in Seattle at his ship yard for example) Rosario was his get away, and had it's own power generator, large pools and other amenities. He was also Mayor of Seattle from 1888-1890.
In recent years the property was a destination/convention resort as well as a real estate development.
Located half way down East Sound, it is a very beautiful location.
