The Shrine of Mullah Shah Meyagul Akhondzada May peace be upon him.

Mullah Shah Meyagul Akhondzada, may peace be upon him, was a great Mullah and a freedom fighter who fought againts the British with his army during the Anglo-Afghan war around the year 1870s. He played a major role in the war by sucessfully fighting the British and defeating them several times at various border points (todays Durand line). May peace be upon him, he was and is highly admired and known for his kindness and extraordinary divine powers that were given to him by Almighty Allah. He became a Martyr during late 18th century for Islam in the name of Almighty Allah. His faith in Islam and his bravery, sacrifice for his people and Nation is remembered by the people of Afghanistan. May peace be upon him.
