The DPWH hopes to complete the project on or before Dec. 31, 2009.
By minimizing flooding, if not completely resolve it, the project is expected to improve the living conditions of the residents and promote economic activities in the area.
The Camanava Flood Control Project covers 18.50 square kilometers of flood-prone areas.
