Parque Peruche is a North Zone´s neighborhood in the city of Sao Paulo, located in the District of Casa Verde. Usually this neighborhood is misundestanding with the Casa Verde´s neighborhood itself, also it is famous known for being the place where School of Samba Unidos do Peruche was born, although nowadays the School of Samba is placed in the neighborhood of Limao.
The School of Samba Unidos do Peruche is one of the most traditional School of Samba of the State of Sao Paulo. Already 3 times champion of Sao Paulo´s Carnival (Mardi Gras).
Parque Peruche neighborhood has High School, Kindergarten, Stores, Street Farmers Market, Snacks Bars and dozen of amateurs footbal teams. Some of them very traditional like Dragoes da Casa Verde and Camorra.
This place is about 3 miles away from downtown and is really a very good place to live.
