St Pinnock Viaduct

A Class B viaduct in the Glynn Valley. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It is 151 feet high, 633 feet long on 9 piers; rebuilt by raising the piers and replacing the timber with iron girders in 1882. This is the tallest viaduct on the railway. The line was singled over this viaduct on 24 May 1964 to reduce the load on the structure. Beneath the viaduct is the Trago Mills out-of-town shopping complex.
