The 'Handelsbeurs' is a concert venue, located in the historic Trade Fair on the 'Kouter'.
The Corps de Garde, the oldest part of the Trade Fair, was designed by David 't Kindt and was built in 1738-1739.
After years of vacancy, the building was purchased in 1997 by Mercator & Noordstar and thoroughly restored till 2002 and converted into a modern, medium-sized concert hall.
