  • Stayed here with wife in May/June 2008. Nice hotel. Very affordable foodstuff and souvenirs in its lobby attached shopping complex. Believe it was called Thai village or something like that. Hotel has two wings.. The Doi Suithep wing is the more posh and up class.. and the Huay Kaew wing is the budget wing. Both are acceptable, depending on your budget. Look out for the Candlelight Market outside the SHopping malls in the evenings. Very affordable local stuff. Hot pants going for 79bhat.. pedicures going for 5 bhat a finger etc.. :) Lots of foodstuff. Enjoyable experience.
