This side of the Coleman ferry dock is typically where automobiles who wish to take the ferry boat over to Bainbridge Island wait. It is usually always full during commuting hours during the week (5-8AM and 3-7PM Monday through Friday). Over the summer and nearly always on holiday weekends the dock is at full capacity, due to tourism. It is not unheard of to have to wait more than one boat cycle (about 35-45 minutes) when this happens. There are vendors accessable from inside the ticketed waiting area.
