Tanay Catholic Church
see:
www.ncca.gov.ph/about_cultarts/articles.php?artcl_Id=17Built in the second half of the 18th century by the Franciscans, the church's interior is rich, with five beautiful examples of rococo-influenced retablos. On the walls are the panels of the Via Crucis, celebrated because of the way in which they were indigenized through perspective, proportion, and other details-- one of the characters even wears glasses.
