One of the leaders of the exhibition business in Eastern Europe as well as Russia’s largest operator and organizer of international trade shows, fairs and congresses.

Expocenter Fairgrounds is a venue that meets all modern requirements of the exhibition business.

Annually, Expocenter organizes participation of Russian companies and organizations in trade fairs held overseas.

For years, by order of the Government of the Russian Federation Expocentr has been an organizer of Russian expositions at World Exhibitions.

Annually, Expocenter Fairgrounds hosts approximately 100 trade fairs of different size and importance with over 30 000 exhibitors participating.

The total space of the Fairgrounds is over 200 000 sq m; the total exhibition space is 135 000 sq m comprising 85 000 sq m of indoor exhibition space and 50 000sq m of outdoor exhibition space. In 2006, the total space occupied by trade fairs and conventions was 665 000 sq m.

Expocentr Fairgrounds offers nine modern exhibition pavilions and halls for conventions, press conferences, meetings and symposia. The company renders all kinds of services connected with exhibitions and conventions.

During the exhibition season (which lasts almost all year round) Expocenter welcomes over one million of visitors. The majority of events organized by Expocenter are held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Expocenter has been a member of UFI – the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry since 1975. Expocenter’s 18 events carry the UFI label; they are Khimia, Consumexpo, Zdravookhraneniye, Prodexpo, Mebel, Lesdrevmash, Metalloobrabotka, Agroprodmash, Sviaz-Expocomm, Elektro, Inlegmash, Mir Stekla, Neftegaz, Mir Detstva, Obuv.Mir Kozhi, Reklama, MSOO, and Sklad.Transport.Logistika.

Since 1978, Expocenter has been a member of InterEXPO – the Association of Organizers of Exhibitions Abroad and of National Participations in International Trade Fairs and Exhibitions.

In 2005, Expocentr became a member of AIPC – the International Association of Congress Centers.

Since 2006, Expocentr has been a member of ICCA – the International Congress and Convention Association.

Since 1991, Expocentr has been a founding member of RUEF – the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. Its 20 events carry a RUEF logo.

All trade fairs organized by Expocentr enjoy support from Russian ministries and other authorities as well as the Government of Moscow. The exhibition schedule is compiled with participation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, various industry associations and unions. Expocentr is a member of the Moscow Exhibition Guild of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
