A railway junction near Basingstoke on the South Western Main Line, where the line to Salisbury is separated from it. Originally, this was a standard flat junction but when the line got busier, the Battledown Flyover was built over the Salisbury tracks to carry northbound trains, making the junction a 'flying junction'. Also at this point the South Western Main Line's tracks are reduced from four to two.
