Houtzdale American Legion SpeedwayAmerican Legion grounds - shown to have a half mile horse track - a "fairgrounds" type of flat track in early 20th century maps. Became a well known semi banked quarter mile dirt track speedway which operated approximately 1954 thru 1972. Ran under D.O.R.A. (Drivers-OwnersRacing Association) sanctioning 1960 through 1972.
