1807 In Prussia the French refugee Albert Le Coq began a beverages´ merchandise wiht Russia. mostly dark beer from London.
1912 In the Estonian town Tartu, with it´s brewing traditions, beer named A. Le Coq was introduced.
1941 After the Soviet occupation the brewery was nationalized and renamed Tartu Õlletehas and the beer Tartu Õlu.
1941-1944 During the German ockupation the brewery was named Tartu Brauerei and most of the output delivered to the Wehrmacht.
1995 When Estonia´s independence was restored, even the beer got back it´s name A. Le Coq.
