Devil's Garden

A swampy area of Hendry County; the "Devil's Garden" is typically a reference point between intersection of Hendry County Roads 832 and 833. It is an extensive farmland area; typically, tomatoes and citrus are grown in this sparsely-populated area. Local lore says the soil is so black it was once the "The Devil's Garden".
