Dubois Crusader Castle (Shaqra)

The Dubois Crusader castle, in the town of Shaqra, lies on the ruins of a Roman building. It includes a crouch on its west side, called the girdle, and on its land is a piece called “Marj-al-Sitt”. It has a length of 125 meters and a width of 80 meters. It includes three layers; the third is dilapidated, and there are 32 chambers and rooms in the remaining layers and within it and outside it are many tanks. The castle rises on a hill that is surrounded by valleys on three sides.
