These are the Oheka Castle auxilliary driveways, which provided access to the service portion of the home, as well as to the stables, airfield and vegetable garden. In constructing Oheka, Kahn had a railroad station built to transport workers to and from the construction site. This station is still in operation as the Long Island Rail Road's, Cold Spring Harbor station. This driveway appears to have provided access to the original station. Today, this driveway is known as East Gate Drive. An interesting note about this driveway is that its northern and southern halves are no longer connected.
