Residence hall (women only). According to references, Legett Hall is from the year 1911, making it one of the oldest surviving buildings on campus. Department of Residence Life offices was in basement starting in 2001, later it was offices for Womens and Gender Studies.
In fall 2012, the offices went away and it will be turned into dorms again. Housing was getting bad, according to The Batt, "at the beginning of [August 2010], Legett Hall was at 101 percent capacity — meaning girls were living in study rooms and lounges."
