THIS MAY BE THE ONLY CEMETRY IN THE ENTIRE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY WITH OUT MONEMENTAL STONES.THERE WERE TOMBS BUT DUE TO DIFFERENCE OF OPNION A SECTION OF PARISHNERS DESTROYED ALL IN A STATE OF FRENZY

  • The destruction of the tombs took place not in the eighties but in ninties. This was instigated by only one priest who belonged to other diosces. I fully agree that it was an unholy act by the wanton parisheners. This can be compared to in a very small way to the act of vandalism by Talibans in AFGHANISTAN against the Statue of BUDDHA
  • The observation by Shri Varghese Peter throws light on the bad tastes of the parishners.And the church authorities are blisfully silent about it.
