Add category
It is said several thousand years ago the inhabitants behind Land’s End erected this enormous burial chamber. Not known exactly how old it is – some say it dates from 4000 BC. It is one of the best preserved of all British dolmens. The capstone, which weighs some nine tons, is believed to have been manhandled into place on a system of rollers and ramps.
