boat, interesting place
The Boston Swan Boats have been a tradition here since 1877. One can take a leisurely ride on the Public Garden "lagoon." Each boat is a human powered catamaran, and can seat up to 20 passengers. The pedals for the operator are creatively hidden behind swan forms, hence the name "swan boat." One can relax and watch the people stroll through the gardens. The fare for a swan boat ride is relatively inexpensive, and is a great way to spend part of an afternoon on a pretty summer day. www.swanboats.com/
