50-60 years ago, the whole street consisted of Market place for Bamboo Products such as Baskets, Canes, and Ladders etc. The market may still very well be there! This market was on Ratan Chand Road, starting at Railway Road and ending at Circular Road, near Shah Alam Market, Walled City of old Lahore. Supposedly, this market is the biggest and oldest Bamboo Market of Pakistan

I wonder if this area still has Sultan Ki Sarai, Ratan Chand Ki Sarai, Shifa Medicos, and Bamboo Market etc.
