During WWII, from Nov 1945 to May 1946, this was the sub-site of a Civilian Public Service camp (CPS 107 3 miles southwest) established to separate dissident Spiritual Christian Dukhizhizniki (mis-labeled Molokans) who could not tolerate living or eating with pork-eaters, nor non-believers of their faiths. For 6 months, a total of 40 Dukhizhizniki lived and worked here, then they were transferred to CPS Camp 76, Glendora. goo.gl/P4J7iC
