T/S State of MaineOriginally laid down as a Maury Class Hydrographic Survey Ship USNS Tanner (T-AGS-40), this vessel decomissioned from Naval Service in 1993 when she was transferred to the Maritime Administration and laid up in James River with the Reserve Fleet.
