A symmetrical late pleistocene strato-volcano, the younger of two large volcanic structures in the Cold Bay complex and the westernmost Holocene volcano on the Alaskan Peninsula. South of Frosty Peak are glacially dissected late-Pliocene to early-Pleistocene Morzhovoi volcanos.
