From Lacanau head due west towards Lacanau Ocean. The golf course is sign posted all the way. You will drop down an incline and see the 9 hole golf course through the tall pines on your left hand side. The turning takes up up through the golf village and eventually to the hotel, restaurant and golf shop / clubhouse.
The course is well designed but tight in places. The greens are relatively quick but preserve gentle slopes and are a pleasure to putt on. On a breezy day wind funnels through the pines and its direction can be puzzling at times. There is a true and demanding 9 hole course too as well as a nice chipping green and sizeable practice area with 10 (40 ball) seaux de balles or buckets costing 25 euros. The food is OK and the hotels is nice and tidy with comfy beds. Off season price is 60 euros for two sharing a twin or double room.
