this village is on the national highway98.in west it is surrounded by sone-east-canal.famous for the 17-18 th century tomb of shamsher khan(grand son of renound hindi poet Rahim).south of the tomb is a big pond ,initially a pious spot , but now a dump and encroachment ground.one high school, one middle school and 3 private schools are running currently.since this village is near sone so the climate is highly affected by this rever condition.known for sun-temple also, ppl from all magadh comes here in chhath to pray for their wellbeings.
