Entrance to Ramapo State Forest off Skyline Drive

This is the lower entrance to the park. The road is Skyline Drive which will often be closed in bad weather. Park in the large white triangle that you see(actually a dirt parking lot) and follow the river up to Rotten Pond and the various hiking trails. Please do not litter.

Rectangle, not triangle, parking lot. The parking lot has a nasty dip as you enter it, so make sure the gap in the downhill traffic is enough for you to slowly pull in if your vehicle has limited clearance.
