PARK INFORMATION
Southeastway Park is a 188-acre nature park managed under the Environmental Education and Natural Resources Division of the Indianapolis Parks and Recreation Dept. The park is located in the southeast corner of Marion County easily accessible from I-74 at the the Acton Road exit. There are a variety of natural habitats on the property including: 80 acres of forest, a pond and wetland, open fields and meadows, a prairie preserve and Buck Creek. The park offers numerous environmental education programs and special events throughout the year. The main operations of the park are broken down into 4 major areas: Environmental Education Programming, Shelter and Site rentals, Hayrides and Summer Camps.
