Bahía Blanca is a city in Argentina in the province of Buenos Aires, 650km away from the Federal Capital. It was founded on April 11 of 1828. The name Bahia Blanca stems from the whiteness of coastal saltpeter. It is the most important urban city in the southern Argentine port complex and the most important grain port in the country.
