  • Visited February 2007 - Quite a few interesting light aircraft. US registered Cessna 340s plus in the Deccan Aviation hangar three Bell helicopters. Photography no problem except in one hangar where over security guard refused permission.
  • Art of Living Foundation's Silver Jubilee Celebrations were held at Jhakkur Airbase on 17th, 18th and 19th February' 2006. More than 2 million people from across the globe attended this celebration irrespective of class, caste or creed. Many country and state heads attended this function. On the last day more than 7 lakh people performed the "sudharshan kriya" under H.H. Sri Sri Ravishankar.
