78 Harbor Rd. As related by H.D. Perrine in "The Wright Family in Oyster Bay", a very old house built by Simon Cooper stood just east of Christ Church and was long occupied by Ezra Minor. The first post office was in this house. In earlier years it had been owned and lived in by John and Daniel Parish.
The first Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club meetings were held in this little colonial house under the Elms on East Main Street. In 1926 the town bought the site for a new High School building, and the Minor-Willis house was moved to its present site on Harbor Road near the shore.
