Originally built and owned by Bert and Anna (Lenz) Green, the original homestead burned down shortly after it was purchased by new owners outside of the Green family. A house was built near the original foundation. A barn and four car garage still stand nearby. This house was on about 80 acres that was a functioning farm until the retirement of the original owner's son and subsequent owner, Robert Green, who was born, raised, lived and died, in here. Robert Green passed away in or about 1982 and the farm was then sold at auction along with its contents. The house and farm land were sold separately.
