Exciting hotel. Well, it is a budget hotel, but an exclusive one. There are over 300 rooms, some air-conditioned, some non-window. I took the Family Suite for two nights, RM 105 per night, like the Executive Suite. Only the Executive Suite has a mini-fridge. The Deluxe and the Superior Suite both cost RM 75 per night. The Single Suite costs RM 65 per night, and the Super super Family Suite could contain 10 people, with 4 double decker beds and a normal queen sized bed! It costs RM 205 per night. (Note that these prices were during my visit, it may rise up to doouble by now)

There are other branches, such as the Sun Inns Lagoon Bandar Sunway and the Sun Inns Mentari Bandar Sunway, both at Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The other branch is the Sun Inns D'Mind Seri Kembangan in Serdang, Selangor.

When you stay at Sun Inns Tambun, you can go to several places if you get bored, or hungry. There is a food stall on the first floor. This hotel could provide you with tickets to the Lost world of Tambun, which has a wet park, a dry park, tiger valley, hot springs, waterfall beach garden, the legendary 400 million years old standing column of rock called Needle of Tambun, and so much more. You can even play Volleyball or hold a wedding.

Nearby, there is the Sunway City Ipoh. Also not far away are hypermarkets, like Jaya Jusco, Tesco, Tesco Extra, Makro and Giant.

I enjoyed my stay at Sun Inns Tambun. I look forward to more people coming to Sun Inns.
