Culbertson Old Ladies Home (Mansion at River Walk Bed & Breakfast) (New Albany, Indiana)

704 E. Main. This large Italianate style brick edifice was built in 1873 for Mr. Culbertson for the widowed indigent of the city. He also built an orphans' home on Ekin Avenue because of his philanthropic nature. The widows' home is now the Mansion at River Walk Bed & Breakfast.
