Physics North and Physics South (formerly LeConte Hall) was one of the largest physics buildings in the world at the time it was opened in 1924,and was also the site of the first atom collider. Here you will find many Nobel laureates and some of the best research being done in the world. The LeConte name was removed in November 2020, and the building will be referred to as Physics North and Physics South until it is renamed.
