Detroit Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The Fed purchased this 17-acre site in 2002 and moved into this facility in late 2005. It replaced the building it occupied on West Fort Street and Shelby since 1922 and was expanded by noted architect Minoru Yamasaki.
