  • Lived there in 1969. My father was in the Army. we loved our Villa @ the view of the Medtterean Ocean.
  • Oh my gosh! My dad was a dentist in the Navy and we lived in parochial azzurro and loved it too!
  • Lived there from Sept. 1978 to Sept. 1980. 7-10th grade. Absolutely loved it.
  • lived here from 1975-1977. loved it. We were civilian contractors to the Naval aircraft
  • we lived there from 83 to 87. Loved it. !!
  • Rose, we lived there from 83-86. Which street where you on?
  • Lived there 1981 to 1983 in the first house of the park. I remember the assassination of Rafaelo the guard of the park his young son was my friend
  • Lived there from 69 to 71 3rd & 4th grade. Was there still a little general store at the bottom of the hill when you were there? Old men played cards outside? And the scary beautiful house at the top of the hill? We lived across from the Trattatoria - about halfway up the hill.
  • We lived at Villa 83...just down the street from the English Consulats estate. 1970/72. Paul, John, and Leslie were the kids I played with. When the water went out, we had water when no one on the street did and they came to our basement to get water. Remember "Humpty Dumpty"...good times.
  • Lived in 2 Via Grifo from 1985-1990. Had a great view!
  • We also often had water when others did not. We were at 2 Via Grifo. Yes, I remember Humpty Dumpty! My dad visited Naples when he was in the Navy, and he remembered her from the 60s.
  • I lived there around the same time, between 1969 and 1972. My dad was at AFSOUTH with NATO. I was in 7th thru 9th grade. I remember having no water because of the sumer earthquakes, and the "water buffalos" full of drinking wsterfor the Americans who couldn't drink well eater. Yes, there was a little convenience store at the bottom of the hill. We were almost at the top of the hill, maybe two levels down from the top. I remember hearing schoolbus gossip that the little store was one of many controlled by the mafia, that there was a mafia-caribinari shootout on a highway transporting goods to all the little stores- but who really knew? We were almost at the top of the hill, maybe two levels down from the top. Rafaelo was assasinated??? Omg what horrible news!!!
  • 11 via Aquila 1982-1984 The house right next to the pool
  • Hi there - did you know my grandparents, by any chance? David and Angela Besley, lived there from '81 until '94.
  • I was there with my twin brother from 1969 to 1972 (aged 4 to 7) at no. 77 I think. Our dad was also at AFSOUTH and we went to the English school on the base. I only have vague memories of Parco Azzurro but remember the hot summers and the beach at Licola and Solfatara. I think it was mostly US service people there as I remember we were friends with mostly American kids.
  • We were there at the same time. Lisa Vierra. 5th - 7th, 1970-4. We lived about three houses up from the pool.
  • Was fun to live there 1972-1975. #32. 1-3 grade Pintamare Grade School. Kickball on the roof.
  • Lived there 1979-81, great location, Italian neighbors, restaurant and pool. Every day was a unique experience, especially the weekends when our road was filled with people driving to the beaches and there was virtually no room to drive south . Rafaelo, the Parco manager and his family were special, they really helped make life in Italy comfortable.
