Future home of New Scotland Branch of Albany Public Library (455 New Scotland Avenue) (Albany, New York)

New branch that will replace the current School 19 New Scotland Branch located down the road. It will be renamed the John J. Bach library, after the late Board of Trustee member of the library.

"A new branch library to replace the existing facility located in School 19 will be constructed at a site on the north side of New Scotland Avenue created through the purchase of a privately owned parcel at 455 New Scotland Avenue and part of the land associated with City Fire Department Engine 11. The resulting site includes 21,360 square feet (.49 acres)."
