League of Socialist Working Youth of Korea (also translated as Socialist Working Youth League of Korea) headquarters. These are the central executive and administrative offices of LSWYK which is a hard core KWP youth organization founded by and paid affectionate attention by DPRK President, Kim il Sung. President Kim founded the youth leagues after a student uprising in Shinuiju. The League's city and provincial chapters staff and administer schoolchildren's palaces. The LSWYK begins soliciting membership applications during early elementary education, but takes new members through the end of secondary education. Membership in the LSWYK can fast track a youthful north Korean into a good university or cadre training, and it can make one a hard core member of the KWP.
