Georgia Public Broadcasting, located in the western building, provides statewide television, radio and educational satellite broadcasts. It is affiliated with PBS and NPR as well as other national public media networks.

The eastern building is occupied by the Georgia Tech Research Institute, or GTRI. This building is often referred to as GCATT, though the organization by that name no longer exists.
