  Imaginative interpretation. visit Palnad Basin East of Nagarjun Sagar to find smaller linear quartzite ridges which are Paleocoastal Sand bars and ridges. These were interpreted by our team during the Photogeological Mapping of the part of the basin during 1984-85 from G.S.I.( PGRS ) Training Institute Hyderabad. A few of them should be preserved and maintained as Geological Monument for the students and people to see and study. Detailed report is in G.S.I.Tr Inst Hyderabad.
