  Torrijos lies in southeastern portion of Marinduque, Mountains and valley run across from North to South on its western side and gradually slope downward to the sea on its western part. This situation exposes the town to eastern monsoon and whenever tropical depression occur, their impact are felt. It is bounded in the north by municipality of Buenavista, and on the east and south by the Sibuyan Sea. It is farther town from Boac, the capital town that is 57 kilometers away passing via Sta. Cruz and 61 kilometers via Buenavista. Like other town of the province. Torrijos is located along the coast and assemble to the adjoining towns by means of transportation of 13 latitude and 122.8 latitude.
