The Grove Farm estate, on the western edge of Stockingford (near Robinson\'s End), was built by Nuneaton Borough Council in 1960s and 1970s to provide social housing for the town.
Like the adjacent Church Farm estate, many of Grove Farm\'s roads are named after hills and mountains (e.g. Snowdon Close, Brendon Way). There are exceptions, however, notably Kingswood Road, which is named after an area of nearby woodland called King\'s Wood.
King\'s Wood and Kingswood Road give their name to the current Kingswood ward, which covers western Stockingford.
