Residence hall at RIT named for former university president Mark Ellingson. Tallest building on campus with 12 floors of living quarters, co-ed and mainstreamed with hearing and hearing-impaired students. It is commonly known as "Tower A" to the students because signing "Ellingson" is such a pain to do all the time.
The roof contains the transmitter for WITR 89.7 FM, K2GXT/R 147.075 Repeater and K2GXT Digi/APRS Gateway on 144.390 MHz.

  • I was told by an alumni that there was a big fire in this building years ago (1980's I think).
